Lynn Bowler
Lynn, a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives joined the firm to lead the Residential Property team in 2008. Lynn brings with her a wide breadth of expertise gained at the high profile Midlands firm Freeth Cartwright. She has a wealth of experience in dealing with all aspects of residential property work for both freehold and leasehold properties. Lynn has also dealt with numerous high value property transactions during her career and adopts exceptionally high service standards.

Andrea Butcher
Andrea is a Legal Executive in the Personal Injury Team. She undertakes all types of injury work but focuses mainly on representing employees who have had accidents in the workplace. Andrea handles personal injury cases which come into the firm's Swaffham office, in addition to a general King's Lynn and Norwich client base.
Natasha Carr
Natasha has been with the firm since 2003 and is an executive specialising in residential conveyancing. She handles sales and purchases of both freehold and leasehold properties, as well as mortgages, transfers of equity, voluntary registrations, and all related issues.
Claire Clark
Claire is an Executive in the Personal Injury Department and has been with the firm since 1997. Claire undertakes all types of personal injury work.
Chris Dewey
Chris is a solicitor, the firm's Managing Partner and a key member of the Personal Injury team. He is a Senior Litigator with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, a member of the Law Society's Personal Injury Panel, and specialises in representing Union members in the East Midlands who have been injured in industrial accidents. In a personal capacity he is a keen sportsman and holds the firm's best golf handicap.
Melanie Egginton
Melanie joined the firm in 2007 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives. She specialises in residential conveyancing and handles sales, purchases and all related issues.
Kim Faivelowitz
Kim is a Legal Executive specialising in Dispute Resolution and Employment Law. She handles general civil litigation matters including contract disputes and landlord/tenant disputes. Kim advises on employment issues, including drafting and advising on employment contracts and she acts for employees and employers in Employment Tribunal claims. Kim also deals with agency work for other law firms and banks/building societies.
Simon Fowler
Simon is a solicitor and the partner heading the firm's Swaffham office. He specialises in Property and Commercial Law, with his core client base being local farmers and other owner-managed businesses. He is a non-executive director of a number of companies and is involved in many charitable organisations in the Swaffham area.
Lisa Gaughan
Having completed her training with Ward Gethin, Lisa was admitted to the roll as a Solicitor on 1st September 2010, and subsequently joined our Personal Injury Team dealing primarily with Road Traffic Accidents.
Michelle Gooden
Michelle is a solicitor in the Personal Injury Team. She specialises in workplace accidents and occupational diseases, including asthma, 'repetitive strain injury', and mesothelioma but also handles other general injury claims. Michelle speaks Japanese and sign language. She sits on the disciplinary board of the National Rifle Association.
Anna Hall
Anna, a solicitor, joined the firm in 2010. She has a wide range of experience dealing with all aspects of residential conveyancing for a variety of different clients including landlords and corporate clients.
Anissa Hallworth
Anissa, a solicitor and head of the Civil Litigation department, specialises in Employment and Dispute Resolution matters. She acts for employers and employees in all aspects of employment law, from drafting or reviewing contracts through to representing them as an advocate in the Employment Tribunal. Anissa handles contractual business disputes, and also individual disputes on matters such as Wills and Trusts or Boundaries. On a personal level, Anissa is the Training Officer for the Local Law Society and a member of the Enterprising Women Group.
Sarah Hastings
Sarah, a solicitor, joined the Private Client Team when she moved to Norfolk from Cheshire in November 2008. She advises on Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Elderly Client and Court of Protection work.
She is a full member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE)
Out of the office Sarah enjoys exploring the UK and travelling to all parts of the World, especially South East Asia where she worked with the church for several years.
Diane Hewitt
Diane is is a Legal Executive in the Private Client team. She advises on Wills, Probate, LPAs and Court of Protection work.
Neil John
Neil, a solicitor, specialises in Claimant Personal Injury law. He is a co-founder of the BMF Biker Legal Line (BLL) and a member of the BLL Management Committee. Neil has a particular interest in injury claims involving motorcycles and has written numerous articles for MotorCycle Rider, and appeared in both Ride and Superbike Magazines as their resident legal expert.
Penny Lees
Penny is a solicitor and a long-standing partner in the firm. She handles high value or complex residential property sales and purchases, commercial property transactions and residential and commercial landlord and tenant issues both locally and throughout England and Wales. She is the principal contact for the firm's membership of Norfolk Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Sarah Lunn
Sarah Lunn is a trainee solicitor with Ward Gethin. Having undertaken the academic stage of training to become a solicitor before joining Ward Gethin in September 2009, Sarah is now in the final stage of vocational training with Ward Gethin before she becomes admitted as a solicitor in September 2011. During these final 2 years of vocational training, Sarah will be spending at least 6 months in each of Ward Gethin's specialist departments.
Susan Matthews
Susan, a solicitor, joined the firm's expanding Commercial Property team in October 2007. She brings with her a wide breadth of expertise gained at City firm Jones Day. The transactions in which she has been involved range from standard commercial landlord and tenant matters to assembling a site for a new football stadium through the purchase of land and buildings from more than 20 landowners. Her experience also includes the sale of large portfolios of properties. Susan is based in the King's Lynn office.
Emma Norman
Emma joined the firm in 2010 and is a Graduate of the Institute of Legal Executives. She specialises in residential conveyancing, handling sales, purchases and all related issues.
Cheryl Page
Cheryl is a Solicitor, Partner and head of the Private Client team. As well as managing the department, she advises on Wealth Management, Trusts, Probate, Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Elderly Client and Court of Protection work. She is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, a full member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) and is a Notary Public.
Richard Pennington
Richard, a solicitor since 1986 and partner at Ward Gethin since May 1991 where he is the Finance Partner. Richard now brings his over 20 years of litigation experience particularly of contentious financial issues to the areas of family law and professional negligence.
Richard is the supervising partner of the Civil Litigation and Employment Departments and carries out commercial and litigation work which has been carried out for regular clients for over 20 years.
He is a trained mediator, a Member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association and a member of Resolution (which is a group of lawyers committed to constructive resolution of family disputes).
In a personal capacity he is the Chair of YMCA Norfolk, a trustee of a number of local charities and a member of the Lawyers Christian Fellowship.
Marcus Phillips
Marcus, a solicitor, joined the Private Client Team in December 2009 having previously worked in Cambridgeshire. He advises on the making of wills and the administration of estates after someone has died as well as the making and registering of Lasting Powers of Attorney and the appointment of Deputies, both to look after someone else’s affairs, through the Court of Protection.
Marcus is a Professional Member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE)
In his personal life he is a keen writer, performer and organiser in local amateur dramatics and a black belt in Shotokan Karate.
Sara Plummer
Sara, a solicitor in the Family Team, joined the firm in October 2008. She advises on areas of family problems such as divorce, separation, children issues, and change of name for married and unmarried couples. She also deals with cases that come into the firm's Swaffham office.
She is a member of Resolution (which is a group of lawyers committed to constructive resolution of family disputes)
On a personal level she is involved with charities that help victims of domestic violence.
Sandra Rawson
Sandra Rawson is a Legal Executive in the Private Client team and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. She advises on Wills, Probate, Trusts and Court of Protection work. She is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Sarah Scott
Sarah is a solicitor and partner in the Personal Injury Team and a member of the Law Society Personal Injury Panel. She specialises in industrial injury cases, including asbestos exposure, occupational asthma and accidents at work generally. Much of her work is for Union members in the Norwich area. Sarah is also a Notary Public, enabling her to assist those wishing to conduct foreign transactions.
Simon Wilson
Simon is a partner in the firm. He joined Ward Gethin in 2006 to lead the expansion of the Commercial Property team in King's Lynn. He has experience in all aspects of commercial property including landlord and tenant, site acquisition and disposal, and land development. Simon's client base includes a wide range of owner-managed businesses, property developers, entrepreneurs within the leisure industry and established larger organisations. He also provides general commercial advice, and assistance with licensing.
