Lynn, a Chartered Legal Executive, joined the firm to lead the Residential Property team in 2008. Lynn brings with her a wide breadth of expertise gained at the high profile Midlands firm Freeth Cartwright. She has a wealth of experience in dealing with all aspects of residential property work for both freehold and leasehold properties. Lynn has also dealt with numerous high value property transactions during her career and adopts exceptionally high service standards.

Kate has been with the firm since 2005 and is an executive specialising in residential conveyancing. She handles sales and purchases of both freehold and leasehold properties, as well as mortgages, transfers of equity, voluntary registrations, and all related issues.

Andrea Butcher
Andrea joined the firm in 2000 and is a Chartered Legal Executives. She undertakes all types of Personal Injury work, whether this be road traffic accidents, tripping accidents or Clinical negligence claims but focuses mainly on representing employees who have had accidents at work or occupational disease claims. Andrea handles personal injury cases which come into the firm's King's Lynn and Swaffham offices, in addition to a Norwich client base.

Sally Dean
Sally joined Ward Gethin from a large regional firm and is a Solicitor specialising in Employment Law and Dispute Resolution. She handles all general civil litigation matters and disputes including contract disputes, debt recovery, wills and landlord/tenant disputes. Sally advises both employers and employees on employment issues and all aspects of employment law, including drafting and advising on employment contracts, handling employment disputes and representation in the Employment Tribunal.
Outside the office Sally is a keen musician and also enjoys sports such as running, snowboarding and squash.

Chris Dewey
Chris is a solicitor, the firm's Managing Partner and a key member of both the Personal Injury and Employment Law teams. He is a Senior Litigator with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, a member of the Law Society's Personal Injury Panel, and specialises in advising both employers and employees on all aspects of employment law including claims for unfair dismissal, disability claims, TUPE transfers etc. In a personal capacity he is a keen sportsman and holds the firm's best golf handicap.

Lauren Dilworth
Lauren Dilworth is a trainee solicitor with Ward Gethin.
Having undertaken the academic stage of training to become a solicitor before joining Ward Gethin in September 2010, Lauren is now in the final stage of vocational training with Ward Gethin before she becomes admitted as a solicitor in September 2012.
During these final 2 years of vocational training, Lauren will be spending at least 6 months in each of Ward Gethin's specialist departments.

Jenny Doran
Jenny is a solicitor and is the newest member of Commercial Property team. She relocated from Manchester to join Ward Gethin in January 2011 and is based in the King’s Lynn office. Jenny’s experience was gained in Manchester and Liverpool and she can advise on a wide range of commercial property matters from business leases to landlord and tenant matters and issues relating to general commercial conveyancing.

Sarah Lunn
Having completed her training with Ward Gethin, Sarah was admitted to the roll as a Solicitor on 15th September 2011. Sarah specialises in Employment Law, Family Law and Dispute Resolution.
Sarah handles general civil litigation matters, including contract disputes and Inheritance Act Claims. Sarah also acts for both employees and employers in employment disputes and provides advice on issues such as redundancy, TUPE and discrimination. In addition she also handles matrimonial matters such as divorce, child contact disputes, child residence applications, cohabitation issues and domestic violence.
Sarah also deals with agency work for other law firms and banks/building societies.

Cheryl Page
Cheryl is a Solicitor, Partner and head of the Private Client team. As well as managing the department, she advises on Wealth Management, Trusts, Probate, Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Elderly Client and Court of Protection work. She is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) and Association of Contentious Trusts and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS). She is also a Notary Public.
Cheryl is currently studying for the STEP diploma in Trusts Disputes.

Richard Pennington
Richard is the supervising partner of the Family and Civil Litigation and Employment Departments and carries out litigation work which he has carried out for regular clients for over 20 years.
He became a solicitor in 1986 and a partner at Ward Gethin in May 1991 where he is the Finance Partner. Richard now brings his over 20 years of litigation experience particularly of contentious financial issues to the areas of primarily family law – especially finance issues, contentious probate and professional negligence along with some general litigation.
Richard is also a member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists.
He is a trained mediator, a Member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association and a member of Resolution (which is a group of lawyers committed to constructive resolution of family disputes).
In a personal capacity he is the Chair of YMCA Norfolk, a trustee of a number of local charities and a member of the Lawyers Christian Fellowship.

Marcus Phillips
Marcus, a solicitor, joined the Private Client Team in December 2009 having previously worked in Cambridgeshire. He advises on the making of wills and the administration of estates after someone has died as well as the making and registering of Lasting Powers of Attorney and the appointment of Deputies, both to look after someone else’s affairs, through the Court of Protection.
Marcus is a Professional Member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE)
In his personal life he is a keen writer, performer and organiser in local amateur dramatics and a black belt in Shotokan Karate.
Marcus is currently studying for the STEP membership exchanges this coming academic year.

Sara, a solicitor in the Family Team, joined the firm in October 2008. She advises on areas of family problems such as divorce, separation, children issues, and change of name for married and unmarried couples. She also deals with cases that come into the firm's Swaffham office.
She is a member of Resolution (which is a group of lawyers committed to constructive resolution of family disputes)
On a personal level she is involved with charities that help victims of domestic violence.

She specialises in industrial injury cases, including asbestos exposure, occupational asthma and accidents at work generally. Much of her work is for Union members in the Norwich area. Sarah is also a Notary Public, enabling her to assist those wishing to conduct foreign transactions.

Simon Wilson
Simon is a partner in the firm. He joined Ward Gethin in 2006 to lead the expansion of the Commercial Property team in King's Lynn. He has experience in all aspects of commercial property including landlord and tenant, site acquisition and disposal, and land development. Simon's client base includes a wide range of owner-managed businesses, property developers, entrepreneurs within the leisure industry and established larger organisations. He also provides general commercial advice, and assistance with licensing.
