Ward Gethin have selected Help for Heroes for their 2010 charity.
The charity was launched in October 2007 and, with the backing and support of celebrities, including Jeremy and Francie Clarkson, the Royal Family, the media and countless ordinary decent people, it has raised over £1m a month since then.
Help for Heroes is strictly non-political. They have no affiliation with any political party and do not endorse the use of their name for the promotion of any political viewpoint. The money that is raised at Help for Heroes is used to support wounded Servicemen and women of every colour and creed and they strongly oppose any individual or political party who believes otherwise, and those who seek to use the charity’s name for their own political gain.
We will be holding a series of fundraising events throughout the year to raise money for this worthwhile cause. Many of our events are being made open to the public and we encourage you all to come along and show your support. Look out for our public fundraising events in the local press and on this page.
You can also show your support by visiting either of our offices in King's Lynn or Swaffham at any time during 2010 and purchasing a Help for Heroes wristband.
Wristbands are priced at just £2 each and all proceeds go to support Help for Heroes.
